My Calling

My name is Deborah Mac Manes and I am a Christian artist living in Anderson, SC with my wonderful husband, Allan, of 24 years. My hope and prayer is that this Christian teaching blog will help you attain the blessings of Spiritual wisdom, discernment, nourishment, and contentment through the understanding and application of the Scriptures. I answered God’s call over thirteen (13+) plus years ago to study, share and teach His Word. God’s will for His children is to help shed His Light on anyone who wishes to know Him.

Throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, our Creator God breathed His ‘Truths and Inspiration’ into forty human authors over sixteen hundred non-consecutive years. He revealed information about Himself, His plans and His purposes for our temporary lives on this earth. The consistent theme throughout the Scriptures is God’s desire to have a personal and intimate relationship with each one of us through the Second Person of His Holy Trinity; who was temporarily fashioned in human flesh to come down to earth as our perfect ‘sacrifice’ and ‘save us’ from our own eternal destruction. He walked on planet earth as fully God and fully Man during His three year ministry. His Name is above all names – JESUS CHRIST – our Creator, Savior, High Priest and King. The application of Scripture takes a lifetime of trials and blessings as God grows us up and into the eternal ‘Spiritual’ likeness of Himself through the guidance of the Third Person of His Holy Trinity; the promised HELPER. The Helper is the Holy Spirit of JESUS who indwells the minds and hearts of all believers to instruct, guide and keep us on the narrow path to His ‘free gift’ of eternal life.

This is a great place to ask questions, have open discussions, offer your personal testimony, or share your experiences in walking with our omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent Creator, Savior and Helper, JESUS the CHRIST. We have a ‘true and eternal Friend’ in our Lord JESUS!

Blessings in His unlimited grace,
