God’s Perfect Plan of Redemption

Today’s world has reached new heights in achieving a state of spiritual ungodliness. This fallen world is in such a chaotic mess, and Scripture tells us that it is going to get worse.  Because Satan is on a short leash, he is on a rampage to ravage the world as much as he can, and win souls to suffer with him in eternal hell!

However, there is ‘good news’GOD is, always, in control of His creation; everything seen and unseen! Because Holy God wants His angels and human beings to ‘voluntarily’ love, honor, obey, and worship Him, He gives us a free will. God created us for fellowship. He wants us to have a faithful and loving relationship with Him; but, only, if we freely choose to do so. (Satan, formerly named Lucifer, was the most beautiful angel in the heavenly realm. However, he chose to become prideful and wanted to take God’s place on His throne. He and his demonic cohorts were thrown out of heaven and down to earth.)

When Adam and Eve, willfully, chose to listen to Satan and disobey God, their perfect and sinless lifestyle came to an abrupt end. God had warned them that if they sinned, they would start to physically and spiritually die. (Our individual spirits cannot die. The biblical meaning of ‘spiritual death’ is eternal separation from Holy God.) Since “the wages of sin is death” and God cannot coexist with sin, only a blood sacrifice can cover our sins under God’s perfect system of justice. So, God intervened in the garden of Eden, and the first shed blood of an innocent lamb was used to cover the physical nakedness and spiritual sinfulness of Adam and Eve. Through God’s unlimited grace, unconditional love, and unfathomable patience, He allowed the blood sacrifice of innocent animals to cover human sins, as a temporary substitute, until He unveiled His permanent plan of redemption for our eternal salvation.

Because the blood of an animal could never cleanse a sinner’s conscience, countless animals were sacrificed, daily, to cover the people’s sins. At God’s appointed time, He would OFFER mankind His predetermined plan of redemption to cover past, present, and future sins, since the beginning of time.

God’s set appointed time came for His Holy Trinity to implement His plan of redemption. The Holy Trinity consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Our Triune God is three Divine and distinct Persons; yet the Three are ONE. God, the Father, fashioned a human body for Himself. His Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary, the chosen human mother, and she conceived God’s Son in her womb. The Son, voluntarily, stepped from eternity past into present time as Mary’s human baby named JESUS (Yeshua in Hebrew). This was so He could experience and understand a complete cycle of human life, with every emotion and temptation known to man. JESUS walked in the full Spiritual image of His Father inside a physical human body. He was the perfect, innocent, and sinless sacrificial lamb who would take all the sins of the world upon His own shoulders. JESUS, our Messiah, shed His blood as the sacrificial substitute for the entire human race. He came forward to serve and become our eternal Savior. JESUS died ONCE for the past, present, and future sins of all mankind. He was beaten to the point of being unrecognizable. He was nailed to a cruel Roman cross at Calvary. He, selflessly, laid down His life to cover the sin penalty of death for every human being who lived in the past, lives now,  and will live in the future. If you accept God’s perfect OFFER of Jesus Christ, as your redeeming Lord and Savior, all your sins will be forgiven and you will receive the free gift of eternal salvation.

Jesus defeated death at the cross! When Jesus died, He descended into the Hades side of the chasm to proclaim His victory over sin, death, and Satan’s kingdom. He preached the gospel to the dead in Hades. This was necessary because Jesus will be the Judge of the living and the dead. He, then, visited the Paradise side of the chasm to confirm the faith of, and promises to, all the saints who died before Him. The Bible tells us that, “Abraham rejoiced.” (Also, Jesus told the thief hanging beside Him on the cross, “Today, you will be with me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43) When Jesus ascended to the Father, He took the saints in Paradise with Him as ‘first fruits’, and the Paradise side of the chasm became obsolete. Now, when believers die, we are, immediately, absent from the body and present with our Lord Jesus. The Hades side of the chasm will stay in place until the Great White Throne Judgement. At that time, all unbelievers in Hades will be resurrected (this is the second resurrection mentioned in Revelation) and thrown into the eternal lake of fire with Satan and his demons.

This perfect plan of redemption and salvation was predetermined by God before He began His creation. God knew the heart of man and He sent JESUS, His Son, to redeem and reconcile His creation back to Himself.  JESUS is the Lord and Savior of the world, and His name is above all names in heaven and on earth. HE IS RISEN: On the third day He rose from the dead, ascended back into heaven with the saints from the Paradise side of the chasm, and sits at the right hand of the Father on the Throne of Grace. He will come again, not as a servant, but as ‘King of Kings’ and ‘Lord of Lords’ to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. AMEN.

JESUS is the, ONLY, way to heaven. JESUS is the, ONLY, way to the Father. JESUS is the, ONLY, way to eternal life.
