God’s Infinite Wisdom

I would like to share a blessing that a lot of folks may not think about. Who did God choose to announce the birth of His Son, Jesus Christ? … Emperors? Kings? Queens? Other people of, worldly, status? Absolutely not.

He chose the poorest shepherds who were considered the lowest form of life in biblical times. The same is true of Jesus when He chose His apostles. They were fishermen; not considered very high on the, worldly, scale of success. The Lord teaches us that He looks at the heart; not the outer appearance and/or social status of a person, and we would do well to do the same.

God in His infinite wisdom wants ‘everyone’ to come to Him; not just the people who the world considers rich, mighty, and powerful. Our sovereign God presents the opportunity of salvation and free gift of eternal life to all of mankind; from the poorest to the richest. His plan of salvation is made easy, so that all of us can be forgiven and cleansed of our sins by accepting Jesus, the Christ, as our substitute for the death penalty of sin. By making Jesus our Lord and Savior, we are reconciled to Holy God through Him and step into eternal life with Him. God’s plan of repentance, reconciliation, and salvation is made simple through His infinite wisdom!

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation–Colossians 1:21-22

With thankfulness to our Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.

In Jesus’ name,

Debby Mac Manes, disciple of Jesus Christ <><
